Played 7. Won 7 at home. Burton will be relishing another home fixture at the Pirelli which has proved to be a fortress for the Brewers this season. They have only lost 2 of 17 on their own patch.
They are unbeaten in their last six games winning 4 and drawing 2, form which has seen them shoot up to 3rd position. They overcame an Exeter side with a very good away record on Saturday knocking 4 past them which will breed confidence in the dressing room. Gary Rowett will be keen to keep his men in check and not grow over confident. Another hard challenge awaits on Tuesday as Morecambe come to town.
Morecambe are in a rich vein of form themselves and are still within touching distance of the playoff zone currently sitting in 10th place. They have only lost 1 game in 6 and should provide a stern test for the league 2 team on fire. Jim Bentley’s men come in off the back of a draw to Bristol Rovers, a game in which they had numerous chances to take all 3 points.
